till death do us part, 2025.

questioning traditional wedding culture, till death do us part is a multiple component project of photographs, archival video, installation, and a physical photo album. To reflect on relationships through weddings specifically, there is a split of the bride and groom visually in the found archival footage to evoke the feeling of a loss of individualism in marriage. Then comparing it with digital photographs of self portraits where I perform as a contemporary bride, using time to reflect on gender roles in marriage.
